Meet Marisa Sergi, CEO & Founder, Red Head Wines

Marisa’s love affair with wine started in the basement of her parents’ home with a sippy cup at age 5. In fifth grade, she went public with her dream of being a winemaker.  A third-generation winemaker, she came by her career choice naturally, having grown up in the family winery business, and in 2015, she graduated from Cornell with a degree in Enology and Viticulture. She also interned for and worked at E&J Gallo Winery in California.
Her senior year capstone project at Cornell led to the launch of RedHead Wine - a unique blend of California Zinfandel and Chilean Carmenere. Although Marisa’s only been working full-time on RedHead since last August, it’s already available at nearly 200 stores in Ohio.  And she is hard at work on a Provence-style rose, with a profile that is fruit forward but clean, crisp and refreshing. It’s scheduled for release later this Spring.

Her longer-term goal is to create an iconic RedHead Brand, with a broad product line, aimed at millennials and females.  Marisa’s wine is her own unique concept, and now a growing business, if you will pardon the pun.

DOYO Live is a digital marketing and interactive design conference dedicated to the ongoing professional development of marketing, sales, business and design professionals. We accomplish this through our online marketing efforts, in-person workshops and annual marketing conference in Youngstown, Ohio.

DOYO Live was founded by Dennis Schiraldi, the event sold out in year-1 with over 200+ attendees—and we are anticipating the same this year.

DOYO Live is located in Youngstown, Ohio will be held on August 2 & 3, 2017. Early bird tickets are currently on sale for $150, but those prices will not last. We are expanding our conference in 2017 to have 2-hour deep-dive workshops on Day-1, August 2 and Day-2, our all-day conference on August 3.

Attendees can attend workshops only, conference only or get an all-inclusive pass to both events! Don’t miss out!
