What are the parking options?

While parking seems to continue to be a consistent conversation in Youngstown, Ohio, compared to other metro areas in the country. It’s easy to get in and out of Youngstown, there are a number of surface lots in Downtown Youngstown that charge a nominal fee for parking, most are $2 for the day.

Parking Options:

  • FREE on street parking – Wood Street between Fifth Avenue and Wick Avenue. Hazel and Phelps Street and around St. Columba Cathedral.
  • Wick Avenue Parking Garage – Youngstown State University is providing us with the Wick Avenue Parking Deck for $5 per vehicle.
  • Downtown Youngstown – Various surface lots in the downtown area.

We also have will parking options updated at Youngstown State University. And with really awesome cooperation from the City of Youngstown, they will block off meters on streets surrounding the YSU Williamson College of Business. On street parking is very convenient due to the location and is first come first serve, you will be able to park on Wood Street between Fifth Avenue and Wick Avenue and side streets as well.

What to wear?

We’ve heard the term agency casual…That’s probably the most appropriate. Come dressed to impressed, casual attire and ready to have fun. Not too buttoned up but not too dressed down. There’s some walking involved for lunch, so you may want to consider comfortable shoes.

What can we expect?

DOYO Live is a fun event, with a lot of energy, a great opportunity to learn, network and celebrate all things in marketing today. There will be a continental breakfast, keynotes, thought leadership panel, lunch, breakout sessions, networking breaks and the after-party.

What to bring?

The usual stuff you would want to bring to any event, such as:

  • Smartphone
  • Business cards
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Charger – Although we will have charging stations.
  • A friend or two that’s in marketing, business, sales or design.
  • A smile!!!

What is the after-party?

Join us at Suzie’s in Downtown!

This is a great opportunity to unwind after a day of high energy talks, we will host the after party at Suzie’s Dogs & Drafts. There’s light food fare, adult beverages, music, laughter and more networking. It’s a great opportunity to hear some good music and keep DOYO Live rolling into the evening. This year we plan to start right after the conference at 5PM. We are currently lining up live entertainment and plan to go until 10PM that night.
